KARACHI: Six more dengue fever cases were detected in Karachi city on Monday, taking the number of reported cases to 159 in the city since 1st December 2017.
As per the weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, as many as 114 new dengue fever cases surfaced in Karachi this week, taking the number of the reported cases to 2,779 in Sindh province since 1st January 2017.
In Karachi, 2,755 cases have already been reported. A total of 11 people including seven males and four females have died from dengue fever in the city this year so far.
A total 2,779 dengue fever cases were reported in Sindh province so far, out of which 2,755 in Karachi and 24 from rest of province.
