Let's synergize our actions to serve the customers and the national economy' said Qamar Hussain, NBP President. 'Our key objective for the future is to put our vision into action to take the Bank forward; our main cause of concern should be to reduce NPLs, increase low cost deposits, inculcate strong compliance culture and enhance fee based income to take the Bank to new heights in next 4 to 5 years in general and 2011 in particular.
We need to focus on core values to give us strength and direction to retain the top position that the Bank has been enjoying over the years and through KPIs to capitalise on our brand, branches and customer base. The purpose of this gathering is to develop strategies and plans and put them into action' said Qamar Hussain, President, National Bank of Pakistan at the Annual Business & Strategy Conference at a local hotel.
The conference, which is organised under the theme of RISE will go on for three consecutive days to highlight major areas of concern of the bank and the Regions to formulate action plan through working together on exercises, activities, focusing, brainstorming and deliberating while keeping in mind the vision of the President. Dr Mirza Abrar Baig, SEVP/Group Chief, in his encouraging opening remarks to the Regional Management emphasised the importance of the agenda that the management has taken upon itself.-PR
