Saud promoted to CCPO, Karachi

The federal government promoted the Additional Inspector General of CID Saud Mirza to Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Karachi here on Monday. According to sources, the federal government has approved the summary in this regard and given go-ahead signal for the appointment of Saud Mirza as CCPO Karachi.
However, the notification in this connection is to be issued, shortly. Saud Mirza, who was presently working as Additional Inspector General of CID, has been serving for over 25 years in police department at various posts, including DIG Traffic Karachi, Town Police Officer (TPO) Sukkar, District Police Officer (DPO) Hyderabad and SP at different towns of Karachi.
