Khyber Pakhtunkhwa observes Commonwealth Day

Like other parts of the region, International Commonwealth Day 2011 was observed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province with main theme "women as agents of change" in the society. The event was organised by Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (Pildat) in collaboration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
Speaker Provincial Assembly Kiramatullah Khan, Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Women Development, Sitara Ayaz, Executive Director Pildat, Ahmad Bilal Mehboob, women MPAs and a large number of girl students were also present on the occasion. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Social Welfare and Women Development, Sitara Ayaz read out the message of the Queen Elizabeth, Head of Commonwealth.
