People's Lawyers Forum (PLF) Punjab official has said PPP is practicing its freedom of speech against decision regarding national accountability bureau's chairman. In a statement issued here on Saturday, senior vice president Malik Nasir Awan and additional general secretary Rana Sufyan Arshad said the positive criticism on a decision should not be taken as confrontation among state institutions.
They said if retired bureaucrats are not allowed to be reappointed then why the same policy is not implemented on Supreme Court as an institution. The PLF leaders also expressed concern that so many cases against PML-N leadership are pending in Supreme Court including the case of Hudabia Paper Mills, money laundering case, ISI case for years but only suo motu notices are taken in PPP related cases. They say that reservations are prevailed among Sindhi people of being judicially targeted. The conspiracies against Pakistan Peoples Party cannot deter it from policy of reconciliation, they concluded.
