Women's Day observed at IDPs camp

Women and girls from Bajaur Agency observed World Women Rights Day at Jalozai's Internally Displaced Persons camp. In this connection, Pakistan Village Development Programme organised a walk in collaboration with United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef). Addressing the participants, Co-ordinator, Child Protection Centre, Naseer Ahmad highlighted the rights of women and apprised them of their rights in the society.
Representatives of different relief organisations, women inmates of the camps and children of Child Protection Centres participated in the walk. The purpose of arranging the activity was to support women rights and press for elimination of violence against women.-PR
