Shabbir Ahmed Haidri, Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Hyderabad in an address to the press club here, has expressed dissatisfaction over the 'hopeless policies' of PML-N chief, Nawaz Sharif and announced his dissociation from the party after a close association of 10 years. He also said that after consulting his close friends, he would help and struggle for the basic rights of the people of the province.
Haidri said after 10 years of his association with PML-N, he has reached the conclusion that the party has restricted itself to Punjab and Sharif brothers have lost their vision about the things even happening in front of their nose. Safeguarding personal interests has taken over the priorities and the interests of country have been put on the hind side. Poor masses in millions who are being pressed hard with inflation, poverty, unemployment, have lost their value in the eyes of these politicians. Sharif brothers are treating PML-N as a unit of ITEFAQ Group and not a democratic party, he maintained.
He further said that few years back when they were in power, Nawaz Sharif himself was Prime Minister, his brother was the chief minister of Punjab and amongst his relatives were finance minister, mayor of Faisalabad, etc. The poor result of his family based politics is before us all, he added. Haidri expressed sorrow that the present policies of PML-N would restrict the party activities to the provincial level.
