Former Afghan minister injured in Chaman firing

Former Afghan Sports Minister Mulla Manzoor was critically injured in a firing incident at an adjoining area of the border town of Chaman here on Wednesday. Levies Forces sources confirmed the attack and said in view of his critical condition Manzoor was shifted to a hospital in Quetta.
The former Afghan Taliban leader was attack by the unidentified gunmen when he came out of his home in village Killi Rozdin located near Chaman town. Later, the assailants managed to escape. Local administration reached the site and shifted the injured to the Civil Hospital Chaman. Law enforcement agencies have launched the search operation to trace out the attackers, however no arrest has been made so far.
