Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has called upon the labourers to discharge their duties with devotion and honesty in their respective organisations. The MQM Chief was addressing via telephone from London at a programme held to mark the 24th founding day of his party's Labour Division at Lal Qila Ground, Azizabad here.
Members and office-bearers of different organisations of labourers attended the event. Altaf Hussain also greeted the labourers including members and office-bearers of the Labour Wing, on 24th founding day of the division. He said it is need of the hour that the people with different backgrounds should forget their differences and unite under the flag of Pakistan.
He said if Pakistan's cricket team wins the ICC World Cup-then his party will organise a reception in honour of the team and it will also present gifts to the players. Addressing the programme Member MQM Rabita Committee, Waseem Aftab announced that the party would organise a public gathering on April 10 at Minar-i- Pakistan. He said the programme, which the party would organise on April 10, at Lahore will get a remarkable success.
