The high level delegation of BQATI, Bin Qasim Association of Trade and Industry members held a detailed meeting with Mohammad Ejaz Chaudhry, Director General Rangers at his office to discuss increasing crimes, kidnapping, looting and the current situation of strikes etc.
The delegation led by Mian Muhammed Ahmed, Patron-In-Chief/Founder President Bin Qasim Association of Trade and Industry, Usman Ahmed, Founder Vice-President, Farhan Ansari, Chairman Law and Order Committee, Rashid Jan Mohammad Member of Managing Committee along with other participants Mian Naveed Ahmed and Khalid Riaz.
The delegation appraised Mohammad Ejaz Chaudhry, DG Rangers that, the gangs of miscreants on motorcycles are engaged in holding up of cars at gun point and snatching mobile phones, wallet, laptops and other valuables from the drivers and passengers. Their modus operandi is to follow cars and at appropriate moment hold them up at gun point and take away valuables these passengers have.
These incidents have happened in an area starting from Quaidabad to Razzaqabad as well as in Landhi Industrial area. These have become 'No Go' areas for industrialist and common men. People are force to pay bhattas (Extortion) to these gangsters. They carry out these activities in broad daylight. The delegation suggested using security check points in the problematic area between Quaidabad to T- Junction of PQA and the internal Link Roads.
Extensive patrolling by Ranger Guards from Quaidabad to PQA, spot checking, installation of concealed CCTV cameras at key locations. The DG Rangers realised this issue and informed the delegation that he will fully support regarding dismal law and order situation and will refer this matter Brgd. Jawaid of Bhittai Rangers for solution.-PR
