ISE index sheds 18.5 points

Bears dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 18.50 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,923.19 to 2,904.69 points. The overall turnover amounted to 20,028 shares as compared to previous turnover of 12,800 shares.
Total 121 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (76) closed in negative territory, 45 landed in plus column and zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Southern Electric Power Co was 15,600 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser Com. was 3,000 shares. The turnover of PTCL was 1,000 shares.
