Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that concerned administration and police will be held accountable for violation of the ban on kite flying in any district of the province. This was stated by him during the Divisional Commissioners conference held here Sunday to review implementation of Annual Development Programme.
He said that government has decided to maintain ban on kite flying this year also to prevent accidents and the loss of precious human lives. He said that the government could allow no such activity, which could endanger human lives. He directed Commissioners to ensure strict implementation of his instructions in their respective divisions as negligence and laxity in this regard will not be tolerated.
