Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state and has complete controls of its strategic assets, Foreign office said in reaction to the statement made by the Indian National Security Adviser at the Asian Security Conference in New Delhi.
Foreign Office Spokesperson recalled that Pakistan has made sincere gesture in reaching out to India for promoting stability, peace and development in South Asia through dialogue.
She further said that Pakistan fully aware of its responsibilities in the context of global peace and security, especially with regard to the larger Asian neighbour hood.
She stressed, "All regional states live up to their responsibilities, on the basis of recognised norms and values for promoting an Asian Security Architecture with an enlightened approach. This required carefully cultivating of a new mindset."
