National Highway and Motorway Police (NH&MP) has successfully recovered four stolen/snatched vehicles and handed them over to their legal owners during the last week. Talking to Business Recorder a spokesperson of the NH&MP said on Saturday that motorway police received an information on help line 130 that some unknown culprits has stolen a vehicle from Rawalpindi.
NH&MP passed the message to all patrolling mobiles to intercept and recover the vehicle. After few hours Senior Patrolling Officer (SPO) Mudasar, PO Shahzad Rafique, PO Yasir Arafaat and PO Inamullah informed the control department that the car is recovered. He further said that in a separate incident, the officers of NH&MP Taxila observed a Suzuki carrier in a suspicious condition at Shanwary Hotel near Taxila city. On confirmation from district police it reveled that the Suzuki carrier was stolen from Wah Cantt. NH&MP took the vehicle in custody and after meeting all legal formalities it was handed over to PS Wah.
