Modest trading was seen on the wholesale gain and oilseeds market on Monday due to upward trend in the rates, dealers said. On the seeds side, rapeeeds Nawabshah rose by Rs 100 to Rs 2500, rapeseeds cakes low type was higher by Rs 10 to Rs 900 and good type gained Rs 25 to Rs 900 and cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type was down by Rs 20 to Rs 1220 and best type followed the same pattern, losing 10 paisa at Rs 1270, other items retained last levels, they said.
On the cereals side, wheat old Bardana was up by Rs 5 to Rs 2650 and new type also picked up the same amount at Rs 2665, other items maintained their week-end levels, they said. On the seeds side, Irri-6 Sindh low type gained Rs 25 to Rs 3200 and best quality was higher by Rs 50 to s 3275, they said.
