Professor Wang speaks on 'Effective Communication'

The culture of Pakistan and China are rich and both countries are good friends and good neighbouring countries. This was stated by Wang Guo An Andrew Professor of International Trade from Zhejiang Gong University, Hangzghou, China while delivering a lecture on Effective Communication with Chinese Businessmen, at Sindh University Senate Hall on Monday.
Professor Wang is on three-week visit of the University of Sindh and delivering his lecture in different institutes and department. It was his third lecture of the guest scholar from China which was attended by students and faculty members of Area Study Centre Far East and South East Asia, department of International Relations, Economics and others institutes. Professor Wang delivered a detailed talk on culture of China and comparison with western countries and said that there is similarity in culture of China and Pakistan and added that culture of China is getting popularity.
He said, "I do not only come here to deliver my lectures but I also come here to learn from the people of this country and province and students of the University of Sindh. He said that the culture of China is dominant in Asia and young generation respecting to its older generation. He said that for the effective communication for the business the understanding of culture, traditions and language are most important.
He said that China has become large producer of its products and added that economy of China is growing and rates of its products are very low. Highlighting grounds for stable economy of China Professor Wang claimed that due to reforms in foreign investment, control on population are main reasons of it. He said that in East Asia the guests are well treated and added that culture of Pakistan and China is the same.
He said that personnel connection which the Chinese which called as Guanni is most important in every culture and also most important in East Asia especially in China in getting things accomplished. Professor Wang said that in business we prefer to meet with right people at right occasion.
Professor Parveen Shah Dean Faculty of Social Sciences speaking on this occasion said that Pakistan and China enjoy unique and very special relationship which is rock solid and is rooted in the ethos of the people of the two countries. Dr Shah said that year 2011 marks the sixtieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and People's republic China.
