Major drawing show "Lines That Talk" is getting underway at Revivers Galleria in Gulberg here from Saturday (today) evening for which all arrangements have been finalised. The exhibition, which also marks the second anniversary of the gallery, is scheduled to continue for 17 days, till February 28.
Artists whose total 75 drawings are on display in major group show titled "Lines That Talk", besides prominent Pakistani artist of international repute Jimmy Engineer, include Iqbal Hussain, Saeed Akhtar, Mansoor Rahi, Hajra Mansoor, Raja Changez Sultan, Chitra Pretam, Abrar Ahmad and Baber Azeemi.
Drawings of so many well-known artists are being displayed exclusively in this manner perhaps for the first time in the cultural capital of the country thus giving a good treat to the art lovers and collectors from different walks of life. It is a rare opportunity that the artists, art lovers and collectors will be viewing drawings of nine prominent and well-known artists of the country together under one roof at the Revivers Galleria, which itself is celebrating its second anniversary in this colourful and artistic manner. Moreover, Jimmy Engineer has already arrived in Lahore from Karachi for participation in the exhibition while couple of other participating artists are also expected to attend the gallery on the inaugural evening of the exhibition.
