The Lahore High Court has given last chance to SP CIA to trace missing doctor of Jinnah Hospital Lahore, Dr Ali Abdullah till February 24. Earlier SP (CIA) Umar Virk submitted that he could not find out anything about the whereabouts of Dr Ali and sought time for making further efforts to trace him. Upon this, the court expressed displeasure on the performance of the police and directed the SP to make all out efforts to trace the doctor till next date of hearing.
The SP stated that now on request of police, the Home Department has constituted a high profile joint investigation team to probe mystery behind the disappearance of the doctor. The court was hearing petition of Dr Sarfaraz seeking recovery of his son Dr Ali allegedly taken into custody by ISI.
