The Americans have established several states within the state of Pakistan, the US Embassy and the US Consulates are subversion camps and the masterminds sitting there are threats to Pakistan's solidarity and responsible for the terrorist activities in the country.
This was stated by the Jamaat-e-Islami chief, Syed Munawar Hasan, while addressing the 58th annual gathering of the Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba at Attock, on Sunday.
He said Raymond Davis's activities were a clear proof of the US subversive plan in this country.
The JI chief questioned as to why the government killing thousands only to establish its writ in the mountains as it was not establishing its writ in the cities.
He deplored that the Americans had been given a license to kill and carry out anti state activities whereas the nation was insecure only because of the rulers' cowardice.
Munawar Hasan warned that if the rulers did not stop framing policies on US and IMF dictations, they would have to face much stronger public reaction as compared to Tunisia and Egypt.
Accusing the rulers of sheer lack of courage, he said it was a matter of shame that the federal as well a the provincial governments had not been able to recover the vehicle carrying arms from the US Consulate during last four days. He said the rulers did not have time to see the victims' families while the widow of one, Fahim, had attempted to commit suicide. He said the nation wanted the killers of the three innocent citizens to be hanged.
He deplored that those claiming to be champion of democracy were not ready to give up undemocratic attitude.
Munawar Hasan reminded the IJT members that they were the torch bearers of virtue and goodwill in the society, and the group of martyrs and Ghazis imbued with faith and determination.
He said that all efforts of the secular powers to put the nation on the path of immorality and wickedness had failed primarily because of the IJT.
He said that the future of the country was in the hands of its youth who should forge unity in their ranks to frustrate the evil designs of the enemy.
The IJT chief, Syed Abdur Rashid, Secretary General Hafiz Muhammad Nadeem and JI chiefs of Attock and Rawalindi were also present.-PR
