The widow of one of the deceased shot dead by the US citizen, Raymond Davis committed suicide by taking poisonous pills, a private television channel reported on Sunday. The report said Shumaila, widow of Faheem, took poisonous pills and was shifted to Allied Hospital, Faisalabad in critical condition. Doctors tried their best to save her life but she expired.
The report said, "Shamaila had stated that she was committing suicide because she don't expect justice in Raymond Davis case." On the other hand, the brother of Faheem said that the body of Shamaila was not handed over to the family despite their protest.
After Shumaila's death, heavy contingent of police surrounded Allied Hospital and evacuated the ward whereas, Elite Force were deployed near the main gate of the hospital.
