BUENOS AIRES: Argentina posted a trade deficit of $955 million in October, government statistics agency Indec said on Thursday, compared with a deficit of $54 million in the same month last year.
Indec also lowered its measurement of the September trade deficit to $725 million from $765 million previously. So far this year, the South American country has posted a cumulative trade deficit of $6.1 billion, compared with a $1.8 billion cumulative trade surplus in the first 10 months of 2016.
