QUETTA: Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan on Tuesday conducted intelligence- based operation (IBO) at a hideout of terrorists under Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad in Tump area of Turbat, and recovered 18 hostages including two Pakistani and arrested two terrorists.
According to a press release issued by ISPR, during the operation, at least18 hostages including two Pakistani and 16 Foreigners (Nigerian and Yemeni) were recovered who were kept hostage by the terrorists.
A large quantity of arms and ammunition including IEDs have been recovered from the hideout.
The FC also conducted another IBO in village Panodi located 25 km SE of Balnigur in Makran Division in which two terrorists of proscribed organization were killed. During the exchange of fire with terrorists, Sepoy Nasir Mehmood embraced martyrdom while two other soldiers sustained injuries.
The accused were involved in different terror activities including attacks on security forces.
