Police arrest 7 alleged criminals

KARACHI: Karachi police on Monday claimed to have apprehended seven alleged criminals, including two members of Lyari gang war’s Uzair Baloch group, from different parts of the metropolis.

According to details, on a tipoff, a police team carried out a targeted raid in Lyari area and detained two members of gang war Uzair Baloch group, Jamshid alias Kaka and Niazo Shahid, who were wanted to police in extortion, murders, and attempted murders attacks on police stations.

Meanwhile, another police team arrested three street criminals and two car lifters, Rahim Bux and Kamran from Nazimabad and SITE areas.

They claimed to have recovered weapons from their possession. The police have registered FIRs against the detainees and began investigation.
