ISLAMABAD: Governor Punjab Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana Saturday said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had delivered in four years and resolved major issues of the country.
The government took measures and managed to overcame power load-shedding, he said talking to PTV.
He said the government had been striving to provide better living facilities to the people including of south Punjab.
The governor said special attention was being paid to the south Punjab and projects were completed to provide more education and health facilities.
Many infrastructure development projects were completed in the area to provide better facilities to common man, he added.
He said local bodies system carried huge importance in resolving issues of people and the credit for holding local bodies elections in the country went to the PML-N.
To a question, Rafiq Rajwana said right to fair trial was basic right of every citizen of the country.
He said every institution of the country should work in its constitutional domain as it was vital to strengthen democracy.
Holding general elections in time was also important for stability of the system, he said adding that beside criticising, media should also play its positive role for highlighting achievements of the government.
