Pakistan have a rich history of producing brilliant pacers such as the great Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Shoaib Akhtar and since the beginning of Pakistan Super League (PSL), the country has already found many talented young cricketers and one of them is is the form of Hasan Ali.

With the franchise base cricket growing in the country, new talent has now started to emerge on the scene through numerous talent hunt programmes. Last year, one of PSL franchises, Islamabad United, produced leg-spinner Shadab Khan and now he is one of the key members of the national side.

Not long a go, during a similar talent hunt programme organised under the banner of Lahore Qalandars, another PSL franchise, team coach Aqib Javed spotted fast bowler Salman Irshad, who 'constantly bowled at speed of 144kmph.'

Now, Shaoor Ahmed – 6 foot 8 – burst on to the scene from Faisalabad. In a video, the 18-year-old can be seen moving the ball at a good pace.
