Coach Mickey Arthur reveals how Fawad Alam can make comeback

Pakistan’s head coach Mickey Arthur has suggested Fawad Alam to score quickly to get back into the national side.

Arthur told Dawn News that the left-hander was invited to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) to evaluate his technique and fitness for the longer format of the game.

“[We invited Fawad Alam to NCA] to look at his techniques, see how many pulls and the types of strokes he has in his armoury and how many boundaries he hits,” Arthur said.

After the inspection, Arthur revealed that Fawad needs to score more boundaries in order to get in national selectors’ radar. “It was good to have Alam at NCA. We got to know about his fitness for the longer format,” he further said.
