Senate body on Non Implementation of Building Code meets

ISLAMABAD: Senate Standing Committee on Non Implementation of Building Code met here on Thursday at Parliament house and discussed the violations of building code in the construction of buildings in the federal capital besides reviewing the steps taken by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) regarding construction of buildings in H13 and E11.

Convener committee Senator Javed Abbasi said according to the briefing CDA had changed the Master Plan of the Islamabad in 1992, adding many buildings in Islamabad had been constructed without building code.
