Commander Azerbaijan Navy Vice Admiral Shahin Sultanov accompanied by personal staff officers arrived here Monday on an official visit to Pakistan. The Azeri Defence delegation was extended invitation to visit Pakistan by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Noman Bashir.
Later, Vice Admiral Shahin Sultanov visited Naval Headquarters where he was received by Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Noman Bashir. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Navy presented him the Guard of Honour. He took the salute and reviewed the guard.
Admiral Noman Bashir introduced the Commander Azerbaijan Navy to Principal Staff Officers at the Naval Headquarters. Apart from holding detailed discussions on professional matters with his counterpart, Vice Admiral Shahin Sultanov will call on the Defence Minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Air Staff.
