Reports suggest that the Apple Pencil designed by Apple for iPads will soon be available for iPhone as well.

Apple Pencil is a stylus designed by Apple for their tablets. According to Apple, the pencil provides ‘pixel perfect precision’ on iPads. The pencil could be used for creating arts, taking notes and a lot more. The pencil also contains zero lag when used with iPads.

However, now according to a report by The Korean Herald, Apple might consider to initiate the pencil for iPhone too. Taking benefit of the iPhone X’s large screen, the stylus is likely to be dissimilar from the Apple Pencil for iPad.  It will probably launch a ‘supercapacitor stylus type’ that will make it affordable and unique from the Samsung Note 8’s S pen.

The report read, “Apple is mulling something that its late founder Steve Jobs had outright rejected — adding a stylus to its iPhone, according to industry sources on Oct. 13.”

Apple goes down to being third largest smartphone maker

At present, Note 8 is only smartphone that comes in with a stylus, marking it different as compared to other phones. But now, Apple is rumored to take a step forward and compete with S pen by introducing its own stylus.

“Apple is preparing to launch the phone as early as 2019. It is also in talks with a couple of stylus makers for a partnership,” an industry source informed The Investor while requesting for anonymity.

Yet, a drawback for this stylus is that the user might have to buy it separately. Similar to the already existing Apple Pencil, the pencil does not come along with the iPad; the user would have to purchase it separately for $100, reported Tech Juice.
