Security forces kill 28 militants in Mohmand,Orakzai

PESHAWAR: Security forces killed 28 militants in two separate incidents when the rebels attacked a security check point in Mohmand agency and shelling the militants positions near Afghan border in Orakzai agency.

Security officials told APP here on Sunday that militants attacked Salala Ziarat Check Post in Baizai tehsil of Mohmand agency, the forces in return fire killed 20 militants and injured 30 others.

The security forces also shelled on the hideouts of the militants in lower orakzai agency killing eight rebels and destroyed two of their compounds, security official.
