Development work on an ultra-modern Sialkot hockey stadium costing Rs 3.97 crore is in full swing. Official sources told Business Recorder here on Tuesday that the stadium, to be completed during the current year, was being built over six acres of land and would accommodate 25,00 to 3,000 spectators.
After completion of the stadium, Sialkot would be able to hold international matches and domestic championships in this export-oriented city and hub of cottage industry of the country.
