Mark your calendars for September 12 as the year’s most awaited iPhone launching event will take place on that day. With everyone looking forward to Apple’s event on Tuesday, here are a few things that are expected to happen alongside the launching of the new iPhone 8.

iPhone 10th anniversary edition/iPhone 8

Unlike previous iPhones that were just a type of up-gradation of their previous versions, the iPhone 10th anniversary edition that is iPhone 8, will feature a nearly bezel-less front display. Other than that, the new iPhone will also move from LCD displays to OLED display. By removing the home button, the phone will have a ‘virtual’ area that will function as the home button. The touch ID would be replaced with 3D facial recognition system and wireless, inductive charging system will reportedly be introduced.

However, Apple will also charge heavily for all these amazing features. Engadget reports that numerous sources have expected the phone in the $1,000 price range or more.

iPhone 7S and 7S Plus

It is also expected that the company will provide more modest updates to the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. KGI Securities believe that the phone will have more alterations to its design than the ‘S’ phones usually have, like it might get a glass back for allowing inductive wireless charging.

These phones might be overshadowed by the iPhone 8, yet their expected low prices might still enable them to make their place in the market.

iOS 11/macOS High Sierra/WatchOS 4

Apple might also confirm the release dates about the iOS 11 which will be followed by WatchOS and macOS.

Apple Watch

The 'Series 3' Apple Watch that is expected to be launched by the end of this year might have LTE too that will enhance its potential when not connected to an iPhone. This will make it much more compatible to make calls, send messages, use maps or stream music without being connected to a phone. Apple will possibly have a word regarding the watches too.

Apple 4K TV

The company will also reportedly reveal the Apple 4K and HDR TV box at the event, indicated Bloomberg’s sources.

iMac Pro

It might also be possible that Tim Cook would talk about Apple’s iMac Pro and provide some insights regarding its details.

HomePod

Apple might also confirm the launching of its Siri-powered music speaker and virtual assistant, which it has called ‘HomePod’ and is expected to come by December. However, the speaker would initially only be available in the US, UK and Australia.
