Ban on pillion riding notified

pillion-ridingKARACHI: The Home Department, Government of Sindh, has imposed ban on pillion riding in Karachi till further orders.

According to its notification, the ban has been levied to ensure foolproof security measures during Muharramul Harram.

It said that women, children below 12 year age, senior citizens, handicapped persons, journalists, personnel of law enforcement agencies in uniform and employees of essential services will be exempted from the restriction.
