ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari said Pakistan values its cordial and friendly ties with Uzbekistan and desires to further enhance bilateral cooperation in all fields especially in economy, trade and investment.
The President was talking to outgoing Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan Oybek Arif Usmanov who paid farewell call on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Wednesday.
The President lauded valuable contributions of the Ambassador in further consolidating and cementing the existing close bilateral ties between the two counties.
The President wished him every success in his future assignments.
The outgoing Ambassador thanked the President and the Government for the support extended to him during his stay in Pakistan and assured that the momentum of friendship and brotherly relations between the two countries will continue flourishing with every passing day.
