Sindh Minister for Youth Affairs Faisal Sabzwari gave away certificates to 100 successful young participants of "young leader achievement programme seminars and workshops" here on Saturday. The workshop was organised by All Pakistan Memon Federation in collaboration with World Memon Federation, Memon Professional Forum and PMEWS on the sidelines of 4th industrial and trade exhibition at Karachi Expo Centre.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said our youth possess brilliant leadership qualities. What we need is to shape and polish these qualities. "If they get support at every level, they can change the destiny of this country and Pakistan could enter the ranks of developed countries", he added.
Appreciating the role of Memon community in the promotion of trade and industry since the creation of Pakistan, he said they have also worked for the welfare of the people. These efforts are the true reflection of the love of Memon community for this country, he noted. Sabzwari pointed out unemployment was the biggest issue facing young people and the national youth policy 2009 has encompassed this vital issue and suggested solutions so that they are provide better education and training facilities. Lauding the enthusiasm of youth in certificate distribution, the minister said this shows that they are aware of the importance of these workshops and seminars.
Appreciating the efforts of Memon community in exploring and shaping, he called upon other communities living in Sindh and Karachi to emulate such ventures and improve the faculties of youth without discrimination. Sabzwari said such activities give signals to the outside world that Karachi is alive and bustling with trade and industrial activities. Earlier, Ahmed Chinoy, Shoaib Mangoria, Hanif Jhakora, and Tariq Bawani also addressed the audience.
