KARACHI: The Maritime Security Agency (MSA) Wednesday night seized 23 Indian boats along with 122 crew members for poaching inside Pakistani territorial waters.
A spokesman of MSA, the action was taken by the Pakistani security forces to safeguard the interest of the locals.
The Indian fishing boats were found intruding 80 nautical miles inside the Pakistani territory.
The spokesman further said that the Indian fishermen continued to intrude into Pakistani territory and in the Indus delta region containing high quality fish.
The fishermen have been handed over to the Docks police station for further action, the spokesman added.
