Packages Ltd declares dividend

KARACHI: Packages Ltd has reported a lower loss after tax of Rs 332.425 million for the year ending December 31, 2010 and declared a cash dividend of Rs 19 for preference shareholders (IFC) and Rs 3.25 per share of ordinary shareholders.

According to financial results of the company despatched to Karachi Stock Exchange here on Friday, pre-tax loss has also declined to Rs 317.346 million during the period under review compared to a loss before tax of Rs 5.769 billion in 2009.

The earning per share dipped to Rs 3.94 compared to Rs 48.16 in the same period last year.
