BEIJING: The head of the International Monetary Fund on Thursday called for greater "political clarity" in Greece and Italy, as a worsening debt crisis brought fears over political instability.
Christine Lagarde made the comments after talks with Chinese leaders in Beijing against a backdrop of worsening economic turmoil in Europe that has rattled financial markets around the world.
