President condoles demise of Mumtaz Rao

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed deep sorrow over the sad demise of Mumtaz Hamid Rao, a renowned journalist and former Director of News of Pakistan Television, who passed away in Rawalpindi.

The President in a message to the family appreciated his services to the profession and prayed to Allah Almighty to shower his blessings on the departed soul and for courage to his family to bear the loss.

The funeral prayers of Mumtaz Hamid Rao will be held at 3 p.m at the Army Graveyard at the Race Course Ground, Westridge, Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
