SEOUL: South Korean shares closed 3.13 percent higher Friday, rising in line with other Asian markets after the eurozone debt bailout plan appeared back on track.
The KOSPI ended up 58.45 points at 1,928.41 amid news that Greece had dropped plans to hold a national vote on the rescue package, which had sent world markets into panic.
