MANILA: The Philippine central bank has room to adjust policy if needed but current monetary settings remain appropriate with inflation expected to stay manageable over the policy horizon, Governor Amando Tetangco said on Friday.
The annual inflation rate accelerated to 5.2 percent in October from 4.8 percent in September under the new 2006 base year series, the statistics agency said.
