PPP Punjab to hold public meeting on 30th: Warraich

LAHORE: PPP Punjab President Imtiaz Safdar Warraich said on Wednesday the PPP would hold public meeting on November 30 in connection with foundation day of the party in Lahore.

He was addressing a press conference at the PPP Punjab office. Other provincial office-bearers were also present on the occasion. Warraich said the PPP has decided to hold public gatherings at district level on November 30 to mark foundation day celebrations and biggest gathering would be organised in Lahore.

It may be noted that an impressive public meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has baffled all major political parties including PML-N and the PPP. The PML-N has postponed its November 4 public meeting in Faisalabad to November 20. It is generally believed that the PML-N has deferred the November 4 public meeting simply to ensure impressive presence of its voters and supporters.
