Huge boulders and heavy land sliding blocked Karakoram Highway at some nine points as fresh rains lashed out area, Frontier Works Organisation sources said. Official sources said on Sunday that a portion of Karakoram Highway was destroyed due to heavy rains.
Personnel of FWO coupled with huge machinery rushed to the site and started operation to restore the traffic. The blockade sites were identified between Bisham and Pattan.
