Admiral Hu Yanlin, Political Commissar PLA (Navy), China, who is currently on an official visit to Pakistan, on the invitation of Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Afzal Tahir visited Naval Headquarters, Islamabad on Thursday, says a press release.
The Naval Chief received him in arrival. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Navy presented him the Guard of Honour. Admiral Muhammad Afzal Tahir then introduced the Commissar PLA (Navy) to the Principal Staff Officers at the Naval Headquarters.
Later, the visiting dignitary called on Chief of the Naval Staff in his office. He was also given briefing on PN vision and developmental strategy and other issues. During the meeting, various aspects related to areas of mutual co-operation and future collaboration between the two navies and matters of professional interest were discussed.-PR
