Slow business was seen on the grain market on Wednesday as supply position from the upcountry was tight due to transport as well as law and order situation, dealers said. On the cereal side, masoor dal picked up Rs 200 to Rs 4600 owing the short supply. Wheat old and new from Bardan were up by Rs 15 to Rs 1250-1265, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh was higher by Rs 10 to Rs 1620-1650, other types maintained the overnight levels, they said. On the seed side, cottonseed oilcake with bag low type was down by Rs 30 and good type was up by Rs 5, they said.
