River Indus at Chashma, Taunsa and Guddu, and River Ravi at Balloki are in low flood. According to the Flood Forecasting Division report, Indus tributaries in the NWFP ie Kabul River at Nowshera and Adezai Bridge, Swat River at Khuza Khela, Naguman River at Charsada Road, Shah Alam River at Tukhtabad and Chitral River in Chitral are in high to very high flood.
Meteorological features reveal that yesterday's monsoon low has recurved north-eastwards and today lies over Central Rajasthan. A well-marked low pressure area has developed over north Bay of Bengal. The westerly wave over north of Kashmir persists while a seasonal low lies over Balochistan. This weather pattern is likely to cause scattered rain over southern Sindh and isolated showers over Kashmir and north-eastern Punjab.
