In an attempt to mobilise people across the country ahead of the general elections, the ruling Pakistan Muslim League (Q) has drawn up a comprehensive mass-contact campaign. The provincial wings of the PML-Q will hold conventions in all the four provinces.
Apart from this, a string of conventions of party workers will be organised at divisional and district headquarters. "We will reach out to all segments of the society to disseminate the message of the PML as part of preparations for the next general elections," a spokesman said here on Wednesday.
Under the instructions and guidance of PML President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain the party will mount a vigorous campaign to apprise the public about efforts made by the to reduce poverty and provide all the basic amenities to the people at their doorsteps.
