Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has dispelled the impression that has been created by a news item published in a section of the press that some question papers of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) annual examination were out of syllabus.
In a press release issued on Tuesday, the Board said the impression to this effect was baseless and that all examination papers were prepared within the syllabus of the said level.
Besides, publicising in the press, it added that the FBISE had sent model papers to all affiliated educational institutions at the start of the academic year. The Board had also arranged workshops for teachers here and abroad with regard to newly developed question papers. It added that the Board had always taken steps to ensure transparency and promote quality education in the country.
