Pakistan hockey team is leaving for Russia (Moscow) on Tuesday (July 3) to take part in 4-Nation Hockey tournament being played in Moscow from Thursday (July 5).
The hockey team is comprised of Salman Akbar, Ahsanullah, Imran Warsi, Imran Khan Yousuafzai, Muhammad Imran, Rana Muhammad Asif, Rehan Butt (Captain), Yasir Islam, Shakeel Abbasi, Tariq Aziz, Akhtar Ali, Nasir Ahmed, Kashif Ali, Waqas Zafar, Majid Khan, Muhammad Waqas Sharif, Shabbir Khan and Arshad Ahmed.
Islahuddin Siddiqui is Manager/Chief Coach while Manzoorul Hassan is Coach.
According to a spokesman of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), Pakistan, Ukraine, Scotland and host Russia are the taking part in the event. Pakistan will play their opening match against Ukraine on July 5.The final will be played on July 8. The Pakistan hockey team will return home on July 9.
