KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Friday having 48155.93 points with a positive change of 206.60 and volume of 136,338,840 shares.

High and Low were 48210.74 and 47678.83 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 273,529,720 shares with 361 total traded companies out of which 208 were up 138 were down and 15 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 83,155,500 shares. It was followed by TEXTILE COMPOSITE with a total traded volume of 29,066,900 shares.

The three top traded companies were Azgard Nine. with a volume of 24,271,000 and price per share of 13.36 (0.26), NIB Bank Limite. with a volume 20,202,500 of price per share of 1.83 (0.28), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 16,490,500 of price per share of 52.08 (2.13).

The top three advancers were Bata (Pak) with price per share 4390.00 (190.00), Unilever Foods with price per share of 6200.00 (100.00) and Nestle Pakistan share of 9095.00 (95.00).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share of 2418.45 (127.28), Colgate Palmolive. with price per share of 2060.00 (105.00) and Hinopak Motor share of 1600.00 (35.00).
